How it works
The parent teaches. We direct. Here is what that means in practice, week by week.

Baseline
Before anything is planned, we find out where your child actually is. Reading, maths fluency, and a conversation with you about your child: how they learn, what they avoid, what they can do for an hour without noticing the time.
This is light-touch. It is not a test your child has to pass. It is the starting point for a plan that fits.

The individual learning plan
A plan written for your child, not for a year group, delivered in weekly instalments. Each week says what to cover, what to use, and how to know it landed.
Pace is set subject by subject. A child can move quickly in maths and steadily in writing, and the plan will say so.

Your week
You teach. Between thirty minutes and a couple of hours a day depending on age. You log what you did as you go: a line, a photo of the work, a note about what was hard.
No lesson is scripted for you word for word. The plan tells you what and why. You know your child, so you decide how.

Ask anything
Between reviews you have a thread straight to the Education Director. The 9pm question gets an answer from someone qualified, within one working day.

Review
The Director reads the evidence you have logged, tells you honestly what is working and what isn't, and adjusts the plan for the next stretch. You are never left guessing whether your child is where they should be.

Your record
Everything you log becomes a continuous record of provision: what was covered, the work produced, and the Director's reviews. It is yours. Export it whenever you like. Delete it whenever you ask.
It is never shared with anyone unless you choose to share it.

What this is not
- It is not tutoring. The Education Director does not teach your child. He assesses, plans, reviews and directs. You teach.
- It is not a school in your kitchen. There is no timetable to keep, no register, no uniform. There is a plan, and a person who checks it is working.
- It does not replace specialist provision. If your child has significant unmet learning needs, you need the right specialist, and we will say so rather than take you on.
- It has nothing to do with your local authority. Nothing you log is shared with anyone. The record is yours, and it stays that way.
